Where to Submit a Request for Various Procedures
1. Shareholders who deposited in the Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC) before the electronic stock certificate system migration*1
・Round additional fractional shares up or down (if you have fractional shares deposited in JASDEC), change any of your registered items, such as your address or name, or specify the bank account in which to transfer the dividends
- Please submit a request to your securities company. Kindly note that the shareholder registry administrator (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) does not handle these procedures.
・Request the payment of dividends payable
- Please submit a request to the above-mentioned shareholder registry administrator.
2. Shareholders who did not deposit in JASDEC before the electronic stock certificate system migration*2
・Round additional fractional shares up or down, change any of your registered items, such as your address or name, or specify the bank account in which to transfer the dividends
- Please submit a request to the following account management institution (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation), which opens special accounts.
・Request the payment of dividends payable
- Please submit a request to the above-mentioned shareholder registry administrator (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation).
*1 The stocks of shareholders who deposited in JASDEC before the electronic stock certificate system migration were moved to the general account. The general account enables you to buy and sell stocks the same way as before.
*2 The rights of shareholders who did not deposit in JASDEC before the electronic stock certificate system migration are reserved in a special account. To sell the stocks registered in the special account, you first need to open a trading account at your securities company and then transfer your stocks from the special account to the trading account you opened at the securities company.
Procedures Regarding the Stocks Registered in Special Accounts
Please contact the following special account management institution (Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) for the procedures regarding the stocks registered in a special account (requesting to transfer them to a securities company’s account that belongs to the shareholder themselves, requesting to round down (or round up) fractional shares, changing any of your registered items, such as your address, specifying the bank account in which to transfer the dividends, etc.). In addition, all the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation branches in Japan handle the procedures regarding the stocks registered in special accounts.

You can request the form for the various procedures mentioned above regarding special accounts from the website of the account management institution, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (shareholders who deposited in JASDEC before its digitization cannot use it).

Registering the Address and Name of Shareholders
After the implementation of the electronic stock certificate system, if the shareholder’s address or name contains Chinese characters that are not specified by the book-entry transfer institution (JASDEC), some or all of these characters will be replaced by the characters specified by the institution before the name is registered in the shareholder registry. Note that in this case, the name written on the notices delivered to the shareholder will be spelled with the characters specified by the institution.
