    The schedule for announcing our financial results is as follows.

  • If I were to sell all 300 stocks I owned in August 2022 and then purchased another 300 stocks in June 2023, would I be considered a shareholder with a holding period of at least 1 year but less than 5 years as of the end of May 2024?

    No. In this event, you would be considered a shareholder with a holding period of less than one year. If you sell all of your stocks between record dates, your shareholder number will change, and you will no longer be a continuing shareholder.

  • In August 2022, I held 300 stocks, and in June 2023, I sold 100 of those stocks. If I then purchased 100 stocks in January 2023, would I be classified as a shareholder with a holding period of at least 1 year but less than 5 years as of the end of May 2024?

    Yes. You would be considered a shareholder with a holding period of at least 1 year but less than 5 years. As long as all stocks have not been sold, your shareholder number will be retained and the benefits will be sent out in proportion to the latest number of stocks held.

  • I have held stocks for more than a year and believed I was eligible for the shareholder benefits, but I have not received the catalog. Can you give specific examples of when the holding period is reset?

    The holding period is defined as “the period during which the shareholder is continuously recorded in the shareholder registry under the same shareholder number as of the record date.” The holding period may be reset in the following cases. Please contact the securities company where you have opened your account to find out if your shareholder number has been changed.
    ・ If you sell all of your stocks once and then buy them again
    ・ If you received stocks by inheritance
    ・ If your name or address in the shareholder registry changes due to marriage or change of residence
    ・ If you are using a securities company’s stock lending service
    ・ If you change the securities company with which your stocks are deposited
    ・ If you switch your stocks from a general account to a NISA account

Dividends and Paperwork

  • When is the date for determining which shareholders will receive dividends?

    Year-end dividends: Dividends are annually paid to shareholders that are registered in the shareholder registry by May 31.
    Interim dividends: Dividends are annually paid to shareholders that are registered in the shareholder registry by November 30.

  • I would like to receive dividends that I forgot to collect.
